Building & Demolition Material Recycling

SCE Recycling operates a modern demolition material recycling facility at Kemblawarra in Wollongong. The facility accepts concrete, bricks, roof tiles, clay, sand, sandstone, asphalt and from time to time topsoil.

SCE Recycling processes these materials by crushing, screening and/or blending to produce premium aggregates for road bases, pavements, drainage, crusher dusts and engineered aggregates for the construction and landscaping industries. The continual revision of product formulation maximises the use of recycled material resulting in the production of high specification materials.

The operation accepts incoming C&D materials and certified VENM. A certified weigh bridge operates at the site to allow the weighing of all incoming and outgoing loads. Site personnel inspect each incoming load to ensure that it is free of contaminated materials.

SCE Recycling has developed a reputation for quality recycled materials. Working together with the client,  a total solution package of products and services is structured to meet the client’s specific needs. Transportation logistics can also be included as part of the service.

This site operates in conjunction with SCE’s Tomerong Quarry to provide a full range of quarried and recycled aggregate products.
